Race 2 Recovery

On Friday 28th October an inspirational team of injured military personnel will be visiting Hannahs at Seale Hayne, bringing with them an unforgettable experience. We are inviting local people to meet the team, join us on the day free of charge – everyone is welcome.

The Race2Recovery Team have come a long way in a very short space of time, even an appearance on Top Gear! Both the driver and co-driver will be at Hannahs on the day to giving visitors the opportunity to meet them, learn about their project and listen to some of their amazing adventures, and even get a chance to ride in one of their specialist off road vehicles.

The Race2Recovery team now look for new challenges, aiming to raise money so to help other injured servicemen readjust to life, proving to the world what can be achieved no matter what your ability. They aim to do this by competing in car rallies across the world and will be entering into the famous and gruelling Dakar Rally in 2013.

Hannahs at Seale Hayne is extremely proud to be given this opportunity by Race2Recovery to host such an event, and both organisations are very excited to be working together. It has been Hannahs aim for a long time to inspire individuals through innovative means to achieve their dreams and challenge themselves in whatever way possible. Race2Recovery who are on an incredible journey themselves, proving that motorsport is truly inclusive where competitors of all abilities are racing against each other on a level playing field, share the same ethos as Hannahs who both empower people to achieve their full potential.
