A Walk to Remember – Sunday 7th October 2012

August 30, 2012

A Walk to Remember is a very special and brand new event providing families across South Devon, and beyond, the chance to gather all generations and enjoy time together. Whether you walk to remember a loved one, or simply have a walk to remember, this event promises a unique day out for all.

The walk is raising vital funds for Rowcroft Hospice and the money you raise will help us to run services in your community. The more people who take part, and the more money you raise, the bigger difference we will make to local people’s lives. A Walk to Remember will also raise awareness of the work of local charity Children and Families in Grief.

This gentle two mile sponsored walk through the delightful grounds of Lupton House, near Brixham is open to all, even dogs! The mixed terrain route will enjoy some special and hidden views of South Devon not usually for public enjoyment. The walk includes children’s craft activities, homemade refreshments and the chance to remember a loved one in a unique way.

Children and adults too, will be kept amused along the way with our clues and riddles.  Children can take part in craft activities, allowing the adults to enjoy the peace of Lupton.

Gather your friends and family and join together and enjoy a walk to remember! Call 01803 217641 or visit www.walktoremember.org.uk  and sign up today!
