July 5th – Marvin’s Magic School – 10am-12pm – RICC: Come and join the UK’s biggest magic school and learn from a Master Magician. Includes magic set, tuition and more. Ages 7+ Limited places.

July 5th – Look Good, Feel Good Torbay Wellbeing Extravaganza! – 10am-4pm – RICC. Over 50 exhibitors and stalls for everything you need for some ‘Me’ time. Special guest IRON MIKE MITCHELL. Free entry.

July 5th – Torre Abbey Meadows Family Fun Day – 10am-4pm. Includes Creative Torbay stage, open mike, entertainment and a special Human Logo raising money for charity.

July 5th – Flotilla at the Fringe – Brixham Harbour – 4:30 – 10pm. Greenway Ferries themed and setting sail around the bay raising money for good causes. Includes entertainment on the harbour. Fun for all the family!

July 5th – Burlesque and Boogie – www.kinkyandquirky.com – 7pm-2am – RICC. What a way to start the week’s run of shows at the Fringe ‘hub’. Tickets can be booked direct through their website.

July 5th – Stand-Up Comedy at Smugglers and Pirates – 8:30pm (doors), 9:30pm (show) – Smugglers & Pirates. Featuring local stand-up comedian Danny Posthill. Special deal and limited seating.

July 6th – Mare & Foal Sanctuary Event – 10:00am-4:00pm – Princess Gardens – FREE ENTRY – PLUS SPECIAL POETS JAM at Speakers Corner. Join us and meet our animal friends from the Mare and Foal Sanctuary, hear our awesome poets, catch our Town Crier, amazing street performers and magician. MORE TO BE ADDED!

July 6th – Swashbuckling Adventure of the High Seas! – 11am-12:30pm – RICC. Join Big Bad Blue Beard and his team of reckless swashbuckling scallywags for the ULTIMATE FAMILY SHOW!

July 6th – Shaolin Team UK ‘The Amazing Warriors! + support. – 2:00-3:30pm. RICC. Stars of their own TV series, semi-finalist of Britain’s Got Talent 2010, this is a not to be missed opportunity to see the incredible Shaolin Team UK perform a sensational jaw-dropping performance.

July 6th – Evo-Pro Wrestling presents ‘King of the Fringe!’ – 6:00-8:00pm – RICC. Are you ready to rumble?! Come and enjoy TEN of the best wrestlers battling it out to decide who is crowned King of the Fringe! The winners of the Support Me! heats will battle it out in-front of a live audience and our industry judges to see who will support our headline acts during the Fringe! Who will be your favourite?

July 6th – Stood-Up Sunday! – 9:00-10:30pm – Palace Theatre. Two of Torbay’s best professional stand-up comics unite as they’ve stood up their girlfriends in order to present one night of comedy as part of the Fringe! Rarely do their busy schedules allow them to be home, let alone at the same time; both work across the UK, Europe and the finest cruise-liners as star acts. AMAZING VALUE SHOW! £3pp or two for £5.

July 7th – Stand-up Comedy Workshop – 7:00-9:00pm – Artizan Gallery, 7 Lucius St, TQ2 5UW – FREE ENTRY. Richard James of Circus Torbay will be hosting this FREE workshop for anyone who has an interest in stand-up comedy. This would be open for those with some experience or none, beginners very welcome. The training would cover some of the basic techniques of the stand-up comedian. It is a free session but there is a need to book with the Artizan Gallery as space is limited. July 7th – Bollywood in the Bay – 7:30pm – Simla Spice – FREE ENTRY. Local Bollywood troupe Just Jhoom will be gyrating and swaying for your entertainment pleasure at Simla Spice on Torwood Street! Come along and dine at one of the finest Indian restaurants in the bay, enjoy the free Bollywood entertainment and if you’re feeling particularly energetic, come along before the evening kicks off for a fun Bollywood class at 6:00pm (for a nominal fee)

July 7th – Variety at the Fringe – Palace Theatre – 8:00pm – ANOTHER AMAZING VALUE FRINGE FIVER SHOW! Come and enjoy a spectacular evening of professional, amazing and top quality acts providing one of the best variety shows for all the family. Featuring hilarious comedy, mysterious magic, sensational singers all raising money for Parkinson’s.

July 7th – Darkside of Pink Floyd – 8:00pm – RICC. Simply the best tribute band to the phenomenon that is Pink Floyd. Full evening show. Not to be missed! SPECIAL EARLY BIRD OFFER.

July 9th – Craig Campbell + support – 8:00pm – RICC. A formidable stand-up, one of the most charismatic and inventive performers around. He has made appearances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand. SPECIAL EARLY BIRD OFFER.

July 9th – IMPROPERLY @ the BLUE WALNUT, TORQUAY – 8:00pm (7.30 doors) Comedy Improvisation with a difference. Hold onto your hats and any other item of loose clothing as IMPROPERLY take you on a mystery tour of comic capers, inspired by audience suggestions.

July 10th – Patrick Monahan + support – 8:00pm – RICC. ‘Omid Djalili meets Dave Allen you might say.’ – Daily Mail. Direct from The Comedy Store don’t miss one of the UK’s best stand-ups. SPECIAL EARLY BIRD OFFER.

July 10th – The JOCULAR SPECTACULAR ROVING COMEDY SHOW @ the BLUE WALNUT, TORQUAY – 8pm (7.30 doors) Chris Brooks hosts an hilarious evening of comedy entertainment featuring Graham Gorfore, Jeff Sleeman, IMPROPERLY and special guest headliner Tom Craine with a pre-Edinburgh preview of his brand new show.

July 11th – Portrait Finalists Gala – 6:00-8:30pm – Living Coasts. Reception and presentation of the winner of this year’s Open Portrait Exhibition. Judged by local high profile portrait artist Jen Allen, industry expert and representatives of Triton Galleries. Includes incredible entertainment from Royal Variety Show legend Steve Rawlings.

July 11th – Howlin’ Comedy Club presents Kev Orkian and special guests – 8:00pm – Palace Theatre. The world’s best comedy pianist and winner of Spirit of the Fringe Award Edinburgh 2012 presents his incredible act which has taken him to Las Vegas and performed with the UK’s biggest stars. July 11th – Debbie Farrell is Shirley Bassey! + support – 8:00pm – Brixham Theatre. As seen on ‘Stars in their Eyes’ and has performed with Shirley Bassey’s orchestra, expect sequins, boas and diamonds!

July 11th – Milton Jones + support – 8:00pm – RICC. Multi-award winner, TV personality and a top comic in a class of his own, Milton Jones is regularly on Mock the Week (BBC2), has appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1) and he has headlined Dave’s One Night Stand (DAVE).

July 12th – Relive RiviERA – Union Street, Torquay – 11:00am-5:00pm – FREE. We go back in time, Torquay Town Centres becomes memory lane for a day with interactive Dickensian character, vaudeville shows, memorabilia, story tellers, music, nostalgia, exciting children’s workshops and more! July 12th – Family Fun Day – Paignton Green – 10:30am-4:30pm – FREE. Entertainment, music and attractions, including Furry the Fringe Fox and YouTube sensation Together In Harmony.

July 12th – Lee Nelson + support – 8:00pm – RICC. ‘The hottest creation since Ali G and Vicky Pollard!’ – Daily Mirror. Lee Nelson, the well known comedy character played by stand-up comedian Simon Brodkin is headlining the final comedy night of the Riviera Fringe Festival 2014.
