Ladies who love the glamour of the races and gentlemen who like to adorn their best attire will be in their element at Devon Life Ladies’ Night on Tuesday, May 8. The event is being held in aid of the David James Foundation, and the famous ex-international footballer David James, who set up the charity in 2005 to help Malawian communities move towards improving long term food security, will be strutting his stuff down the catwalk as well as helping to judge the best dressed ladies.

There are some incredible prizes up for grabs and the first past the post could find themselves treating five friends to a break in luxury self-catering accommodation at Henbury Court, or enjoying a champagne tea with a Sundari supplifying hand or foot treatment at the award winning Bovey Castle. Other prizes include from Leonard Coombe Master Saddlers and Country Life at Newton Abbot, jewellery from Silver and Sand and goodies from Princesshay, Exeter, and luxury chocolates from Miss Coco.
