Torquay Blues Festival

The first Torquay Blues Festival will be on Friday 4 Saturday 5, and Sunday 6 November 2011 at the Rainbow International Hotel, Belgrave Road, Torquay.

It is the brainchild of promoter Michael Cranmer,who runs the highly successful Ashburton Blues Festival at the end of May each year.

His concept is a Winter BluesWeekend, self-contained within a comfortable hotel, ith top class musicians,workshops, and late a night jam session, at a blisteringly low price!

The 3 star Rainbow International Hotel, Torquay, venue for the first Torquay Blues Festival, has 140 en-suite bedrooms with digital flat screen TVs, hairdryers and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also an indoor pool, multi-gym and steam room (all free to use for residents attending the Blues Festival) and ample free parking.

The Festival will be located in the hotel’s superb nightclub holding over 400 people with tiered levels of seating, dance floor, stage, & three bars.

We offer a special weekend price of £165 (per person) which includes all the music, workshops, jam sessions, and half-board accommodation (dinner and bed on Friday, breakfast, dinner and bed on Saturday, and breakfast and dinner on Sunday)

For those wanting to stay an extra night on Sunday, bed and breakfast is £15 p.p. double occupancy (£30 per room) or £20 single occupancy HEADLINING: Todd Sharpville, Ian Siegal, Big Joe Louis and his Blues Kings, BenWaters Big Band, The Hamsters
